When out on a Sunday stroll with the in-laws we spotted these lovely paintings dotted around Muswell Hill. Spotted one then another and another and then couldn't stop looking for them, ended up wandering around with my eyes down looking like a naughty schoolboy. Loads to spot when you get looking though.... Brilliant, I love the subtleness of this type of Art.
They are painted by a local artist Ben Wilson who you sometimes see splade across the floor, and until now I had simply thought another London nutter. The BBC have actually made a little piece about the process of him painting onto the old chewing gum. Next time I see him I may thank him or even commission my very own old gum masterpiece. BBC LINK
